We’re excited to have Ken Olufs joining us tomorrow at the High Noon Saloon. Ken is a veteran harmonica player on the regional Blues scene, boasting some serious talent, tenacity, and tone.
Doors open at 7. Wrenclaw will kick things off. Blending country harmonies and slithery slide guitars, they create a down-home, backwoods soul shakedown. We’ll play next and then RailHopper will lay down a high-energy mix of Honky Tonk and Southern Rock. You can expect a jam session later in the night. So stick around!
We’ll be playing in Appleton at the Gibson Music Hall with special guests Zane Gruber Baruth (guitar phenom).
We’re really excited to be playing at the Harmony Bar & Grill on 12/29 with Raine Stern and Girls Are Go. Music starts at 9:45.
Here’s a video of Raine:
On December 13, 21-year-old Sarah Papenheim was killed by her roommate in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She was a wonderful person and very close friend of Adam Pryor’s (our keyboard player). Please consider donating to help her family with various expenses associated with bringing her home, burial, etc. Joyann Parker remarked that, “Sarah was a beautiful, vibrant young woman and a talented musician with a smile that could light up a room. She played with some of the best musicians on the scene in the Twin Cities and had many close relationships with them. Her presence is irreplaceable.” We agree wholeheartedly. We miss Sarah tremendously and want to send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
The Crossroads Blues Society will be hosting us at the Lryan Building in Rockford, IL on 12/21.
